Light News has a unique emotion filter that allows users to filter news stories based on what they feel. If an user feels like not seeing articles that would make them feel sad or angry they can filter those out of their feed.
Bridge
Connecting physical and digital worlds
Bridge offers an effortless switch between digital and physical books. The Bridge app was designed to automatically update information on book progress to create a seamless switch between worlds.
WNM Survey
Surveying a department
The WNM Survey was created to ask six simple questions to the students in the Web Design + New Media major from Academy of Art. It saves answers to a simple database to be compared later to other peoples answers. This project went through many itterations and a brief orange period.
Aubrey
Creating the aubrey font
Aubrey can be a sweet natured font but that may only be a facade. Starting off as an Art Nouveau inspired font Aubrey quickly became it's own, though kept the name Aubrey as a nod to Aubrey Beardsley.

50 Icons inspired by locations of the world. The locations focus on four terrains snow, sand, grass, and ocean.
Hello, I am Katie and I like mangoes!
I am also a Front End Web Designer and Developer. I like to create intresting websites that embodies the theme of the project. I am always looking to learn more and create even better designs.
In my free time I love to read Sci-Fi & Fantasy books while listening to music. As mentioned above I love mangoes and my favorite mangoes come from my grandpas yard.
